Our Story ...
We're Dan and Alicia Strieby, the heart behind Sikre, a family-operated, veteran-owned business, proudly shared with our children, Colter and Leona. Grounded in our faith and a love for the outdoors, we're dedicated to building something meaningful - rugged and reliable storage for fellow adventurers who crave the open road.
A few years ago, a layoff scare ignited a desire in us to create something resilient, something we could control. What began as a sketch on an envelope has evolved into the robust storage solution you see today. It was a wake-up call to create something of our own - something that could stand strong if life ever threw another curveball.
We have lived across the Rockies, even a memorable (and very brief!) attempt at camper living with Colter when he was 9 months old. Turns out sleep training in a Jayco didn't pan out. Nonetheless, our love for the wilderness only deepened. Now, were thrilled to be moving back to Utah, where our roof boxes are proudly manufactured. Made in the USA, through and through, reflecting our commitment to quality American craftsmanship. Having experienced countless miles and the need for dependable storage firsthand, we envisioned a roof box that could truly keep up - a tougher, more robust design that wouldn't compromise your vehicle's aesthetic.
In Norwegian, Sikre means "to secure." Our goal is simple: to craft a product that allows people to load up and hit the road with confidence that their gear is secure. Whether it's a weekend of skiing, a hunting trip, or a cross-country trek, we want you to focus on the moments that matter - without worrying about your gear.
Welcome to the Sikre family. Let's hit the road together.
